I received my WW pro and noticed the weld on the left was popped off, causing a gap.
Customer service said they would either credit and I can fix it myself, or they will send me a new box.
Other than re-welding, I wanted to see what (if anything) could be done to seal this gap safely.

I am not a welder, but for stainless steel I believe you need a TIG welder which is more expensive than your grill and is not a simple tool to use.

Without welding I would either use a stainless steel bolt and washers or clamp things tight and rivet which would look cleaner.

Also I’m just thinking about this a little more and it looks like that weld was too hot; I’d look at all the tack welds on the stainless steel to see if others look weak.

  2. Appears as if welded by a blind iguana. I’d ask for another one.
