Creamy Potato Spinach Recipe

– 2 tbsp oil
– 3 potatoes, cubed
– 1 onion, chopped
– 1 chicken stock cube
– 1 tbsp Aromat seasoning
– 1 tbsp vegetable seasoning
– 100ml water
– 1 bunch spinach, chopped
– 1 tbsp butter
– 2 tbsp flour
– 200-300ml milk

Instructions:

1. Heat oil in a pot and sauté onions and potatoes until soft.
2. Add stock cube, Aromat, and vegetable seasoning. Cook for 2 minutes.
3. Add water and simmer for 10-15 minutes until potatoes are tender.
4. Add spinach, cover, and let wilt. Stir to combine.
5. Make a well, add butter, and stir in flour.
6. Mix milk and flour in a cup, then pour into the pot while stirring.
7. Simmer on low for 3 minutes until thickened. Adjust with milk if needed.
8. Serve warm and enjoy!

  1. I cooked my spinach today and it's in the fridge 😢. Can i cook potatoes and add all the milk n flour and mayonnaise and spices, then add my already cook spinach to simmer it for few mins because i don't want my spinach to loose texture and the 'nutrients'. Can this work Thato?
