I've messed up the last 3 batches of macarons that I've done. Rather bothersome considering the first three or four batches I ever made came out amazing (it'd have been extremely disheartening if I hadn't been lucky enough to be talking to my mom during the second batch of the three and she made an offhand comment that one day it'll be easy and come out almost every time).
But I tried again, and it's looking promising. If so, they'll have mint chocolate manacled and pistachio buttercream
