I got hired as a line cook for a very busy BBQ restaurant. It was finally a slow day and this speed rack was driving me crazy. Two dead scrubbies later and lots of wiping I finally got it looking better. Very satisfying so wanted to share 👌

How many times did you almost slice your hand/fingers open. So. Many. Edges.

I just learned that I can fix the supports when they break off with a rivet gun. Whole new world.

I was able to talk my old boss into getting a plug in pressure washer to clean these things. If your place has space out back that’s the best way to do it so much less tedious.

The major down side of doing this is how quickly people seem to go out of their way to trash it again.

Got to keep up that cart cleaning

I didn’t know those things actually ever got cleaned! I think one restaurant I work in (refrigeration guy not a cook) total, out of all of them, keeps that thing clean. Got one place that made a shelving unit out of pressure treated lumber in the walk in – it’s holding up about how you’d expect it to.
