As I don’t always understand how new Reddit handles text on image posts, I’m duplicating the purpose of my OP text here in the comments:

Spaghetti alla chitarra with seafood, hot peppers and toasted breadcrumbs.

Spaghetti alla chitarra is a fresh egg pasta in a long, thin shape typical of Abruzzo. This isn’t the most authentic version I’ve seen, but it was still tasty – quality fresh egg pasta in a long thin shape, cooked well.

While the bread not being on a separate plate was not ideal as it soaked up extra sauce, I understand the restaurant has little space and wants to save money on dishes. The shellfish were high quality if typical of North America rather than the Mediterranean – squid, mussels, shrimps.

Wine pairing was a 2022 Vermentino di Sardegna.
