Bought some steak and don’t want to have to unfreeze to season before cooking, prefer from the freezer directly to sous vide. Do anyone seasoned frozen beef before?

I always season before I sous vide. I wouldn’t rely on that packaging either.

You prefer to sous vide frozen meat?

You can season while they’re frozen. I usually only season with salt, but it sticks fine to frozen steak.

Take it out of the package, then let it thaw a little bit or put a tiny bit of water on it to make the seasoning stick.
As long as the seasoning sticks, you should be fine.
Just be aware that the times listed are for thawed meat, and something frozen solid will take longer.

Thaw it, pat dry with paper towels, coat in salt in refrigerator 30 minutes, wipe with dry paper towel, add pepper, sous vide, reverse sear
