Pics are from 4hr, 8hr, and 12hr marks. It's definitely taking a lot longer than just 1kg. I left the lids ajar at the 8hr mark. There's still a a bit of liquid at the bottom of both slow cookers and this is still too light for my liking so I'll let it go longer.

This is just sliced onions, oil, and a little butter.
