It was under a recipe for tortillas at “28cal” each. They used 2 tbs of flour for two tortillas. It should then be 50 cal per tortillas no?

2 tablespoons is 1/8th of a cup of flour, which is 55 calories. If it makes two tortillas, it would be 28 calories each from the flour.

So when I google “how many calories are in 2 tablespoons flour” the response is 57 calories for two tablespoons (15.6g) of flour.
When I google “how many calories in 28g flour” – which tablespoons are often listed as 14g each – the response is 102 calories.
Perhaps the confusion comes from weight vs volume of flour? For instance two tablespoons of peanut butter is about 28g of peanut butter. Meanwhile two tablespoons of chia seeds is 20g (I have a scale at home and every tablespoon is only 10g of chia seeds despite the package saying it should be 15g of chia seeds.)

According to Google, 1 tbsp of flour is 28 calories. So 2 tbsp flour would be 56 calories.
