  1. I'm very hesitant about eating some wild foods. I can be wrong, but isn't it a possibility they are exposed to deadly disease? If you ingest it, it may kill you.

  2. Hey! What a throwback! I used to love this show as a kid. Im from Finland btw 🇫🇮

  3. Its Genetics and Cultural Mindset. Just like the rest of living things on Earth, some can eat and tolerate just about anything, while others will only eat and tolerate certain things.

  4. You instantly knew that first one was going to be bad when the lady who was going to cook it looked at it and chuckled. She knew nobody in the know eats those whole 😂😂😂

  5. Lol he said how a place that serve this stay in business, while eating at the place that served him 😂

  6. Why?
I think that's the biggest question. Why?
There's not enough $ in the world. Especially when he says "It's like worm jelly."
    All set.

  7. Durian is something that you really have to get past the smell in order to enjoy. I liked it, but I can totally understand why Andrew Zimmerman hated it.

  8. This guy has a surprisingly weak palette for a food journalist. Obviously the rat is supposed to be gutted and cleaned. Such a dumb way to cook that. Treating tripe as some kind of exotic food really shows he was raised on Mac and cheese

  9. People don’t know growing up as a teen late night watching this was such comfort food. This was way before people was posting foreign food on YouTube

  10. Every food place mark weins and best ever food guy goes, I’m like Andrew did that years ago 😂history always repeats itself

  11. Sometimes hes kinda insulting that their cultural food. What they have access too. Nobody told you to eat a rat. Lol the poor business owners.

  12. This and No Reservation were a memorable part my high school days. Back when travel channel wasn't the Ghost channel.

  13. Spent years in Taiwan. First time I encountered a stinky tofu vendor I was checking the bottom of my shoes because I thought I'd stepped in dog crap.

  14. I like durian. It can have an onion smell but also has coffee like tones and is very sweet.

  15. Im pooin right now and the smell of that rat in the beginning of the video just made the bathroom smell twice as bad.

  16. I grew up on watching this man try all these crazy dishes and he is the reason why I became a chef. Thank you brother for instilling these ideals and passions in so many young people out here. 🙏 🙏 🤲 ❤

  17. I loved those travels. I trust his palate on the absolutely not stuff. Most of the other I'd try. Ooh, at least clean and gut the rat first. facepalm No amount of marinade will cover that. Stir fry better. I feel him on the "american cheese" thing. Durian, I'll pass. Chitlins don't quite suit me either, same reason. Some bugs, but huge larvae don't turn me on. Stinky tofu wHY???

  18. I had stop watching this show because me trying different bizarre foods and going through this with him caused me to have a very weak stomach.
