If your air fryer has a broil setting, this is fine. But actual air fried bread gets super crunchy, not my favorite. Looks tasty if you like that though.

So true story, I did an air fryer grilled cheese. Assemble like a regular sandwhich but toothpick it together so the bread doesn’t fly around. I needed to to flip mine part way through.
Comes out a bit dry, more like a toast, but does have that butter fried texture too.
