They look healthy for the most part but all seem

to have a black veiny staining on them. Any idea what this is? They’re not ripening yet.

Disclaimer: absolutely not an expert. This is my second year growing superhots.

My ghost peppers did this exact thing this year. It was an unusually hot and sunny year in western PA. After some research, I found this could be sun scald. With that being said, all my peppers ripened just fine. Harvested the vast majority of them over the last month and have a handful more finishing their ripening before I’ll be done for the season.

That’s just peppers sun tan, totally fine. Wicked looking pods, by the way.

That’s just pepper sunburn and those are looking a little like primotaliis

Sun blush, nothing to worry about. Give the plant a turn to give the pods a more even tan if you like, but the darker parts will disappear regardless as the pods ripen. They look great and pretty, pretty big.

  5. Those do not look like 7 Pot Primo. Yours look more similar to a Ghost or some cross.

Maybe a little too much water. Check to see if they’re getting soft. Those are ghosts, not 7 pots, FYI.

All my ghosts did that before changing colour to orange and then red.
