I’m a rookie so don’t judge 😭 I’ve nailed the cookie recipe and the taste of the icing but I feel like it could be smoother, and I’m still getting bubbles.

Currently using Demi cookie co’s icing recipe in my kitchen aid with paddle attachment.

Things that I’ve found help me: – put more icing on the cookie / don’t leave gaps that I have to use my scribe to fill in (this makes the biggest difference for me) – thinner icing (usually about 10-15 seconds if you know what that means) – let icing sit in the bowl for maybe a minute before bagging & pop bubbles that rise – helicoptering icing bag (spin it around- and be careful that you have a good grip) to get air bubbles out & get the icing to the tip of the bag – if it’s an older/opened bag of powdered sugar sometimes I need to sift it before mixing
