Hello. I’m am inexperienced and would love for these tomatoes to succeed. What are the white and brown dots and what should I do about them? I’m about to separate my sprouts and would appreciate guidance. Thanks

White dots are powdery mildew. Yellow turning to brown might be nutrient deficiency. If it is too wet, the roots get water logged and can’t uptake the nutrients in the soil. Yellow typically indicates nitrogen deficiency. Don’t add fertilizer as a solution at this point as there might be the necessary nutrients already in the soil.

How is the airflow in the room? I would think some solid air movement would prevent this.

You definitely have some powdery mildew happening. Maybe even some damping off and blight. Are you overhead watering? You can try spritzing with a dilute peroxide solution. Bottom watering, but wait until the top inch of soil is dry, more airflow, and I’d thin those babies out. Tomatoes are big, hungry plants.
