That’s actually a good deal

I have a few of the original model but the wifi has become unusable in recent years. I’ve heard the new Breville+ app works better but it just doesn’t seem to want to connect for me. Bluetooth works but reconnecting can be sluggish.
I love the ability to select options visually (the doneness views are wonderful) but would personally probably go for a different model with on-device controls in the future.

Get it. Mine works great. I use it frequently.

Where is it on sale?

I really like mine, we use it several times a week. The app is also pretty nice since I am a bit of a newbie at Sous vide.

After having used my original joule for nearly 5 years at both home and at work. I highly suggest just getting a unit with physical controls and a display. Having to get your phone and open the app for everything get tiresome.

I got her turbo because they sent me a discount because I was an og owner. The main feature is it can cook your steak in like half the time but I don’t use the feature

I have two turbos and an old unit
They are basically the same. The new one heats up slight faster and the wifi is much better.
I don’t mind the app control, always works for me

I actually just got one because my Anova broke and I thought their new subscription model was a bit scummy. No issues so far and it seems to be a little better than the Anova at holding a consistent temperature. App is a little annoying but I like that you can just type in the temp rather than having to press the button a bunch or hold it down for large temperature increases.
