When I was a Baker, someone left a loaf of bread in the oven, which they also left on overnight.

We had a similar incident but the person in question threw it into the skip bin and set the whole bin ablaze 🔥

The the Age of Fire brought the Four Lords: Graveloaf Nito, the first of the over-proved. The Witch of Izayeast, the corrupted sorceress. Gwyn, Lord of Cinnamonrollder, King of Sunlight.

And here, the Furtive Loaf, so easily forgotten.

So many half witted jokes I’m starting to wonder if A.I bots are responding to images with jokes.

Usually there’s 1-2. This entire response thread sounds like dad jokes

I can remember coming in at 3am to an oven full of cheesecake back in my baker days. What a stink!

My dad would still eat this, that man has no idea of incremental toaster settings

In German I could make a joke about this being Glut-in-Brot, meaning embers-in-bread but more a pun on gluten.

I have a similar story. someone I used to work with was leaving for a weekend camping trip and was making weed brownies to take with them. But I guess they’d also been smoking weed while they were making their weed brownies, so they left for their camping trip with the brownies still in the oven.

When they got home 60 hours later they said that when they open the front door it was too hot to step into their house. The smoke alarm is going off but there was no smoke, just a lot of heat and no one to hear the alarm.

Once they had turned the oven off and things had settled, when the oven was inspected the elements had melted into the surrounding metal.

Don’t know how true any of it was
