I am lucky enough to have a Trader Joe's in my city and they have tons of low calorie options that actually taste good! The soup is 450 cals for the WHOLE JAR. The pasta is 200 cals per dry cup (might be too good to be true? That's a LOT of pasta once cooked) so that leaves plenty of room for a tomato sauce with some added protein.
They also have tons of frozen meals for under 400 calories each- with over 20g of protein each too! My favorites are the green chile chicken bowl and the chicken burrito bowl. Those aren't pictured because I already ate them this week. They were delicious and actually filling- I mean I almost couldn't finish the whole bowl. Their skyr cups are also 120 cals/16g of protein!
Some of their foods are a bit high in sodium, but if you need convenience foods that are actually low calorie and filling I would look here! I've loved Trader Joe's for premade/"fun" foods for a long time but now that I am calorie counting I love it more. Sometimes I don't have time to cook and their foods come in handy!

I love trader joes for a lot of things! But I will say, 180-200 cal is pretty standard for 56g of any pasta, but the shape of these ones do make it look voluminous 🙂
200 cals is for cooked pasta not dry, big difference
Oh man this soup tasted so strange to me. Soapy?
I love trader joes. Surprisingly affordable. I thought it was gonna one of these expensive grocery stores.
That is a normal serving of pasta and normal calories for it lol per 56g. But glad you found something you like!!
Oh my goodness I’m poor but oh my pumpkins..🤤
I wish we had Trader Joe’s where I live 🙁
Skip the pasta, it’s a very weird shape and it cooks TERRIBLY. It felt apart and there were still undercooked pieces.
I love a little bit of that soup with a grilled cheese. You should try the harvest pasta sauce with spaghetti squash! So delicious. I enhance the sauce a bit more with fresh garlic onion and tomato paste. You can also try it with the squash ravioli instead.
I adore their vanilla meringues. Four for 90 calories is a pretty decent low-calorie dessert.
