Bro I’m a chef that is over worked and sleeps 3 hours and I still hit the gym 5 days a week

It’s really difficult to find balance in the industry but a worthwhile goal nonetheless. I love me some caffeine and nicotine, but I still hit the gym, eat healthy, and drink an obnoxious amount of water.

Anyone thinking he’s not an accurate representation based on appearance hasn’t made a tequila fueled mistake with one of these himbo line cooks before

This is considered “jacked”? (Not being disparaging, I’m serious) being a gym rat starting in the steroid gut era has completely fucked my brain up.

There are plenty of chefs who take care of themselves, mentally and physically

Pilates 3 days , 3 days whole body free weight training . 4x week sauna , dog walks , eat healthy , reduced alcohol consumption by 99% no smoking , caffeine or sugar now. I’m 48 and been in since I was 15.

And the way you get absolutely shamed for saying you have a life outside of work. I love the show but Carmy reminded me of a lot of people I’ve worked for/with over the years and not in a good way.

It takes two hours to make him look like shit.

  10. I would agree, if actors on series didn’t work like 16 hours a day.
