



Per some other posts on here for shredded beef, did 175 for 24 hours. Took a jar of mole (not homemade this time, Doña Maria) mixed it with about 1/2 cup of water to make a paste which was rubbed over a Chuck. Meat was super tender and didn’t need any “encouragement” to shred. Overall very happy with how it turned out though next time I’ll use my own sauce.

Damn that looks really good, impressive results
Now I know what to do with that jar of mole I bought on a whim that’s been sitting in the pantry mocking me for my foolishness.
seems more like a job for instant pot, for a fraction of the time
