Are we supposed to be upset or something? If true, more power to you all down there in SA.

  2. I don’t know this, I’ve lived in both cities for years, and it’s honestly annoying that people keep saying it.

The thing this IS true about is the metal scene in San Antonio, which is LEAGUES better than Austin, doesn’t even compare, really.

Man, I almost forgot about this inferiority complex since I moved from SA but good to know it’s alive and well lol.

There’s nothing wrong with sour cream and shredded cheddar on your tacos🌮 keep on doing your thing👍🏻💯

Tacos from San Antonio are exact copies of mainstream movies and Austin are unique homegrown? That’s cold as shit dude. I have had good tacos in San Antonio before. It isn’t all Applebees tacos there.

Sure, but San Antonio < El Paso and the RGV for tacos. So like … curb your roll, amigo.

  7. I really don’t understand the whole superior taco thing. Taco’s aren’t some complicated, elaborate dish. Part of the alore is the simplicity. Why would an entire geographic location have a monopoly on such a simply constructed food item? Maybe I’m wrong?

While true, even then the Austin taco scene is lightyears above and beyond whatever comes next.

  9. They’re all different—not necessarily better than the other. I am from Brownsville, so, of course, I think those are the best. I am currently visiting San Diego, where the tacos have a totally different vibe. Again, it’s just different but still good. I appreciate them all.

    Let them have it.

That, the Spurs, and a smelly ditch with hotels next to it are all they have.

Breakfast tacos definitely no comparison. Street tacos? I don’t know man, I haven’t had better in SA.
