  1. This makes sense when they have huge results with their clientsโค. Over the years Iโ€™ve been more drawn to wild greens and sprouts and sea moss. These ppl are so inspiring and motivating! Someday I will have a mini wellness center could be something like this:) along with massage as Iโ€™m a LMT for 17 plus years!

  2. Brian, Brian, Brian. First he tells us we were Nomads, true. But then somehow he drops the assumption we were eating sprouts then. More like Deer, Acorns, Tubers & Berries and other WILD growing foodstuffs. A sprout & green diet requires lots of FARMING to grow the seeds that are then sprouted. Nomads did not farm. There is nothing higher than a WILD growing tree full of ripening fruits. Try and take my WILD figs and see what happens…

  3. This guy is absolutely wrong about sugar and fruit. The human immune system runs on sugar.

  4. I would leave out the oil and eat a bit of raw nuts and avocado, but otherwise I'd love to visit for a day and go to their restaurant if they still have one.

  5. not to be contrary, but –"it's pennies"–gesturing to that grand platter of A-plus sprouts, that huge array of top quality greens, legumes, the dehydrated crackers… that green juice…. It's worth it of course, but it's not cheap.

  6. Gillian, now that you're in Florida, why don't you try to interview Lenny Kravitz, and fly to the Bahamas. He let Men's Health in maybe he would like to do something for the vegan community as well. I'm sure you've seen the video and that he is mostly raw.

  7. Their statement is that fruit is sweeter nowadays and not good for us but it is still what Mother Nature gives to us. I am not one of those eating 10 bananas in a smoothie or a box of dates because my body doesnโ€™t feel good on so much sugar but not eating fruit at all is crazy. Local, seasonal fruit is a powerhouse of nutrition for every cell in our body as fructose is the main source of energy. Since when sprouting and soaking is natural? What animal on earth spends so much time preparing food? If you can just go outside and chew on some grass and herbs and you live it then yes, you are a herbivore. If you need spices, sauces, dips to make it more appealing it is not your species specific diet. Same is for meat. If you eat it raw and love it (which I doubt any normal person does) then it is your species specific diet. When I see an apple tree I want to eat from it and it attracts me. I have seen monkeys eating fruit and also picking up some grass and eating it as well as it is- raw and dirty. I big difference with the way we prepare our greens in order to be able to enjoy them

From my experience, and i have been exploring raw vegan diet for last 15 years, the best diet is combination of fruits till dinner, and than dinner to rich salad of vegetables, many sprouts, especially lentil sprouts, some dulse, and seed based dressing. Up to 15% calories from fat daily. You get the best of both, hydration and energy from sweet fruits and mineral rich salad, with right amount of fat, not too much to disturb blood sugar but enough for our hormones.

  9. SURE, green juice in the morning and plates of sprouts one meal a day, you fast 2 days a week, and you have a belly… No way, period. I'm sorry to point this out, but this has to be a lie. It won't work for you trust me !
    You need calories from fruits to thrive. I'm raw vegan 5 years and eat tons of fruits low fat ; the direction to take if you wanna thrive long term. You want 2000 Kcal from lentils sprouts ? Go ahead and eat your TWO KILOS of sprouts a day, be my guest. Or make a 4 avocados dressing…
    Fruits too sugary, feeding cancer etc is just a sheer fallacy to make you in the end buy supplements or buy a detox cleansing program.
    Sprouts are fun, greens are great, but please, eat fruits and enjoy !!

  11. Great video Gillian! I believe a balanced diet with alot of greens AND fruits is the best! Intermittent fasting has done wonders from my health too! The Buddha said "take the middle path" always lookingvfor balance is key!

  12. I can not imagine to not eat fruit! I will continue to do so..Maybe I should just try to eat only greens once a week for the whole day…but I think I will fail LOL

  13. This is great for the majority of Americans with disease from excess but what about underweight and deficienct people with infections.

    It seems like raw vegan always makes these types worse.

    Itโ€™s these types that often thrive on gaps or carnivore for a period of time.

    Iโ€™m open to being wrong. Iโ€™d love to see the raw vegan community address the type of issues if it at all possible.

  14. This guy knows a lot but he's totally wrong about fruit! And what's up with those dressings the lady said they use Bragg's which are totally salty hey it's too bad the guy doesn't know anything about fruit which is the national food of man

  15. I want this lifestyle It looks absolutely amazing. OK, I have a question regarding the sprouts. It seems to me that they are showing microgreens on a lot of of them. The lentils and beans look sprouted. Any help would be appreciated. Also, for people with cancer, how many weeks are they there. Their website shows a two week course but nothing for diseased folks. Help!

  16. Everybody trashes on them bc they don't eat fruit. But everybody is different and has a different experience. If you feel good on fruit then eat it, nobody is stopping you.

    It makes total sense to me to not eat fruit. Im not 100% raw yet but im getting there. I tried eating high fruit and I didnt feel great, I was sort of a bit dizzy and my head felt wierd. Veggies kind of grounds me and makes me feel stable. Now I do not belive fruit is bad, it is good and I eat it because it makes me feel great, but I really need a diet higher in veggies and nuts and seeds.

  17. I can understand eating fresh… what about oxalates in vegetables and why not fruits? Animals eat fruits, like monkeys bananas… Greetings from Canada
