Had a sudden craving at 3 and had to sprint out to the shops before they closed.

  • Roast chicken with lemon, thyme and garlic rubbed under the skin. Red onions roasted in same pan.
  • Roast potatoes with a bit of rosemary and lemon zest.
  • Parsnips with honey and mustard.
  • Herby butternut squash: roasted with sage, rosemary and thyme. When 20 mins to go add crushed garlic. 10 mins before end add pumpkin seeds and balsamic vinegar. Tossed with flat leaf parsley.
  • Purple sprouting broccoli sautéed. Lemon zest, juice and Parmesan at end.
  • Cheat using frozen Yorkshire as has to be gluten free and dairy free and have never managed to get it right.
  • Gravy a mix of chicken juices and gf bistro.
