First off, I love when you can cook everything in one pot! Easy cooking and easy cleaning!!

This one had a great flavor, I really like the sazón seasoning packet. I’ll have to look for this in-store. I could taste cumin, oregano and garlic, not sure what else? Maybe paprika? It wasn’t spicy at all, just in case anyone is wondering. I wish I had saved a bit of jalapeño from the previous meal to add in while everything cooked just to give it a bit of a kick. But it was good regardless.

One little tip, maybe use less oil than you think you need when cooking the chicken. I didn’t think I used a lot but mine came out just a tad bit greasy. Nothing horrendous but I try to keep the oil/salt/butter to minimums with these meals.

I had it the following day for lunch and it was great! I use a heated lunch box so I just set it a half hour before my lunch and it’s nice and auto heated up, so I can’t say how it is microwaved, maybe less power to not dry anything out.

So if you love one-pot meals give this a try!

If that meal was up here in Canada, I’d definitely be choosing it. It’s interesting to see the different packaging. Our rice comes in paper packages and the fresh herbs come in rigid packages.

I didn’t get this because I didn’t know if it was spicy, so that’s good to know.

This looks good! Sadly it’s something I’d probably skip due to the lower side calories. Meals going under 700 calories or so leave me hungry much quicker so either I skip them or add something to it.

Do we have to wash our rice now? I was surprised to see it as a step on the online menu. I do wash the rice if I add my own but never had to wash their rice before.
