Wow!!! surprised to see this variant from Mozambique, I am from Goa ( old Portuguese colony ), India and its a traditional dish here, we call it Chicken Xacuti, made with roasted coconut and mixed spices. It has a hint of Portuguese culture to it as well, I think that’s how the dishes seem similar.
