My bro in law gave me this hand-me-down Traeger model TFB29LZB. I got it July of this year and he had it for a while prior to giving it to me. What kind of maintenance should I look into doing? We use it for everything, around 3-4 times a week.

Hey! It looks like you posted an image!
If this is a photo of one of your cooks, maybe share the recipe and techniques
used, as it’s almost guaranteed one of the first questions you will be asked!
*What seasoning did you use?
*How long did you cook it, and at what temperature?
*Did you use any special tricks or techniques?
Traeger on!

I clean the ash out every time I cook and remove almost all the pellets just enough to see the auger just in case it trys to back burn into the hopper and clean tin foil every time
If it’s super greasy inside scrape with a putty knife
Perfect, I already do all of that so that’s good to hear. Any parts I should look at replacing? Or is that a “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it” situation?
You still have the sticker on the “p” button right of the lcd. When it’s set to smoke, you can use the p button to adjust temperature. I find the controller sucks below 300, so mostly use smoke and the p button to change the temperature if I want it below that. P0 is hottest, and 05 is coldest. Mine is normally p2-3.
Also a good wireless temp probe will be incredibly helpful
