The first one (left) is "Black Panther". The next one is, ofc, "Carolina Reaper". They were close to each other and now we've got something new. It's super hot tho, but that was expected 🔥

Best part here is that if you can breed it to stability, it’s already got a great name; even if you can’t get away with “Carolina Panther” because of the football team, you can call it “Black Reaper”

Peppers do not hybridize like that, so this is just a fluke and not a cross.
I’d still be keeping seeds, it’s a super unique black panther pheno.

Not a hybrid, just an off pheno Black Panther, as the seeds are the hybrids, not the fruit itself.
However, that is still worth saving the seeds, because neither of the parent peppers of the Black Panther have tails.
Also, if you don’t name the end result Xbalanque, after the Mayan God who has whiskers and patches of jaguar skin, I’ll be slightly disappointed lol.
