In this subreddit, it matters far less that something looks appetizing and much more that it appeals to an antiquated (and regionally inconsistent) dogma. No, you’re not gonna find this combo at a nice Italian restaurant, but what this sub misses over and over again is that people play with and change food all the time all over Italy (even la carbonara 🫣, you need not remind it is a Roman dish lol). As a fan of mayo and chips, this looks tasty bud, even despite the rage bait
