i searched up the cals for the popular triple dipper from chili’s, am i seeing this right?? everything on the list is so insanely high cal. TWO nashville mozzarella sticks are 1330 cals?? come on now. i really wanted to try the triple dipper but i can’t get over the fact that my ideal order would be over 2000 cals 😩 so disappointing

I mean, what are you surprised at? It’s deep fried mozzarella with some form of insanely fatty sauce; of course it’s an obscene amount of calories. It’s nearly 10% fat for christssake.

Places like these are not where you should be going to get high quality low calorie meals. If i were you, i’d either reserve this place for a limited time cheat meal or just abstain altogether. In my opinion there’s no point in striking a balance when the food is this low quality.

I just saw that the triple dipper can be 4000 calories.. sure it’s an app to share, but oh my god

those calories don’t even include the calories for the dips either, what gets me in the calories for the big mouth bites. it’s only 2 of them and they’re tiny but each one is 400??

If you want it and have been maintaining a healthy lifestyle, then eat it. You’re not gonna gain 200lbs off a high calorie meal nor will you even be thinking about it by this time next week

Chili’s is like, the one place I’ve been since I’ve been dieting that I just *cannot* make a reasonable meal work. Even their “healthier” options are like 800 calories plus. The only options are to only eat half of a meal, or just surrender and let the day be a cheat day.

Now, on the other hand, Texas Roadhouse makes awesome bbq chicken and sautéed mushrooms for only 390 calories. It’s been my go-to for date nights since I figured that out lol.

I can still fit chilis in my diet on occasion, if you portion out the meal and try to order healthier sides you should be fine.

Ive never been to chilis. Is it worth a cheat day? Cus it looks like if i go there thats all im eating for the day

I think this is wrong. Cheese sticks are like 100 calories each. I’m guessing the 630 is the calories is for an order of 6–the typical app size. But on the triple dipper you don’t get 6 you only get 2 so you have to adjust the calories?

It’s a shame cause Chilis is bomb these days in terms of price and service (in my area at least). But damn the calories are insane for everything.

Imma still eat it when I want it. That’s life. Balance. Just can’t do it all the time.

One of the hardest things about dieting for me has been essentially giving up going out to eat. It’s nearly impossible to eat at a restaurant without blowing up my diet for the day.

What’s in the Nashville Sauce??? How does it even jump to 1330 by adding sauce???? D:

each mouth bite is 400 calories???? passing away

There’s a guiltless grill section on the menu that has 600 cal or less for the items. You can also individually order proteins and sides if you want to customize the calories. Or get a salad and some wings, boom, like 800 calories for a fried meal out. The avocado ranch is the lowest calorie option BTW
