This is my first sourdough recipe on my channel, I wanted to share with you my easy sourdough bread recipe and see what you think! It has walnuts and their aroma make this my favorite sourdough bread.
This bread is not only easy to make but also incredibly tasty. Perfect for breakfast, sandwiches, or just a snack โ this bread will be your new go-to recipe. So, let’s get baking and fill your home with the aroma of fresh bread!
Ingredients:
โข Water: 1 ยผ cups (290 milliliters)
โข Active sourdough starter: 100 grams
โข Bread flour: 3 ยพ cups (450 grams)
โข Salt: 2 tsp. (10 grams)
โข Walnuts: โ
cup (40 grams), chopped
This recipe doesnโt require any kneading, just mixing! I use a unique method I call โlift and slapโ, together with “stretch and fold”, to help the dough rise nicely. The dough is then shaped into a beautiful loaf, sprinkled with flour, scored and baked to perfection. The result? A crust that sings and a soft, flavorful crumb thatโs perfect with butter.
