  1. Have you ever freeze tried your heart and liver and tongues and just put a couple tablespoons in a soup or whatever read that it was very good to do it like that

  2. In the Netherlands we use these Ossobuco to make vegetable broth. Also great as stew meat
Or you can make a classic Italian dish with it

  3. I don't know if you will get to see this, but I wanted to let you know Tasty brand has come out with a 3 1/2 pound bread machine. It has two mixing paddles. With your big family that could be a big help.

  4. I have been look into a cow and u breaking it down make a lot more sense and so worth it in the long run thank you your a bless to us not sure sure thinker ha ha

  5. Many, MANY years ago, we would buy a whole cow, sometimes just a side, but whenever we got any organs – heart, etc – my family would not eat. But, I cooked them and chopped them up and put them on my dogs food – he LOVED it. My vet said it was very good for him. The tongue went to a local family from Thailand that was always so grateful to get it. I loved having some of my ground beef made into patties too – when my kids got home from soccer/baseball practice, they would cook themselves a burger to tide them over til supper.. Much better than just a handful of Fritos or crackers. You're doing so much good for your family. Good job Mama!!

  6. Have you ever considered doing a freezer cooking video that uses minimal freezer space? Like, half of the meal is in the freezer and the other half of the meal is shelf stable and can stay in the pantry. I would love to have more things ready to go from the freezer, but have limited freezer space.

  7. You are really such an inspiration both on the kitchen front and on the mama going through it front. I had a big health scare this summer and am recovering and starting to get back to myself and back to the kitchen. Some days I beat myself up for not being there yet and I just love your honesty. You are thriving and showing me that I will too again. Ty for your content!

  8. I have the most delicious recipe from my great grandmother on cow tongue that once made, you can never go back. If we struggle to get together as family and cousins, we just post, “oumies tongue for dinner” and EVERYONE comes🤣.💗 If ever you want a recipe, I would be happy to share it with you and your family. Its a very very old Dutch recipe☺️
Ps. You are very inspirational to show how we continue to try to be our best, even when we are down or sad.

  9. I pray that at some point I will be well enough to get some side work and get your plans when they're on sale like this. I try to prepare as much as possible in advance, so my family can eat well, even when momma is stuck in bed or in the hospital.

  10. I have been reading about storing cooked meat in lard in mason jars like back in the old days😮
Your organization skills are absolutely amazing. I strive to be just a fraction as organized one day🤗

  11. Good morning 🌞
We really like seeing your videos
We was wondering how your canned foods pantry is going?
When we have a hard day
Bring smile to our face watching your videos
    Have a great day😊

  12. What you have in the freezer are Beef Shanks. Ossa Bucco (pronounced 'Ah sah 'Boo koh) is made from the beef shanks. They also make fantastic beef stew!! Can't find 'em anymore at meat markets.

  13. Husband and I both on Social Security and the high rise of groceries and utilities has us struggling. I envy you to be able to purchase so much for your family. By the way, you look amazing!

  14. We bought a cow and had meaty soup bones and they are my fave to cook in the pressure cooker then I peel it off the bone and use the meat for quesadillas.

  15. low and slow that beef tongue can make EXCELLENT taco meat. One of the best street tacos I've ever had came from beef tongue. It was delicious!

  16. You'll get an extra "watched" notification today. While I was taking a nap (I work the early shift, please forgive me), my son's cat jumped up on the desk and hit play for me. Two hours worth of cooking videos had played by the time I woke up. Unexpected cat adventures.

  17. I just invested in my copies of the Humongous Pulling Real Life Together Bundle. I am so excited and wanted to thank you for all the hard work you put into compiling these recipes. This is the only purchase I have ever made through YouTube and I am so thankful I got it from you. I Love your channel, keep up being amazing.

  18. You are amazing…getting it all done and making a wonderful dinner to boot. Loved this video. Thanks Jamerrill.

  20. So proud of you and how you are going through the tuff times and working on yourself. Bravo JaMerill, your children must be so proud of you, you are a strong woman in their lives. Keep up the great work. Love your cooking episodes, so inspiring. I’m a female in my 70’s with just myself and husband now. My daughter lives in CA and my son lives here in Vegas as well. He’s working on becoming a better person/father to his son who will be 20 next year. 👍👍👍♥️♥️♥️

  21. Osso Bucco is the name of the dish and its made from the beef shank and yes it contains the bone with the marrow, it's a cross cut from the lower part of the leg, it's pronounced Os so boo ko

  22. I asked for bones with our 1/2 beef but only got the soup bones! Did you ask for all the bones?

  23. Watching now, a bit later but still giggling about the osso bucco meat. I have no idea what the preparation is but it is an early 'bit' in the 1st 'Santa Clause' movie. Hahaha

  24. Osso bucco is Italian slow braised beef shanks and is pronounced OSS-O (oss like loss without the L) BOO-KOE. Highly recommend it, it's a filling and satisfying cold weather dinner. I am in awe of your massive meat haul!

  25. Way to go in keeping your life and your kids life going, even though your circumstances changed drastically. My “kids” are adults now (14 grands) but they always tell me that they remember me saying, “of course you will get through it, you have no choice”. They are all strong, self sufficient adults with the best hearts. Jesus helps us keep going❤️

  26. os so booo co I think its italian and yes thats the easiest way to remember how to say it translation hollow bone its usually cooked in a gravy and the marrow enriches the gravy

  27. Just the two of us, so we buy joints of meat, roast them, then slice them so we can use them for salads and sandwiches, or warmed through in gravy for roast dinners. Works out so much cheaper, as sliced meat packs for sandwiches are so expensive now here. In the U.K.! Chickens get portioned into legs, thighs, wings, breasts, scraps and bones made into stock and soups . Being pensioners, I would like to move to purchasing a half lamb or pig, and a quarter cow next year, think it would be a good move for us.

  28. I love cooking cow tongue in the crock pot with salt bay leaves onion garlic pepper corns cook it for about 8-10hrs on high until it falls apart and it’s delicious in tacos burritos 👌

  29. I discovered 50 lb bags of really nice carrots through the feed store. Sold for horses but very person perfect especially for canning purposes. Very inexpensive at $15 for 50 pound giant bags of fresh orange carrots.
