He dropped a bag of wings in the fryer but with the plastic bag. Anyone know how to get the plastic out efficiently without wasting time?

He was talking to the FOH manger and said “hey watch this” and dropped it in it. Update: I asked the foh manager why he did it. She said to “prove a point”. Can you figure out what point that is?

I can’t imagine why there are micro plastics in our blood.

If someone had done this in my kitchen days, I’d just hand it back to them. “You did it, you clean it”. Doesn’t matter if they’re the boss, if they’re going to be an idiot, they can pay for it.

I mean wouldn’t the plastic just polymerize at the bottom?

Your chef has Swiss cheese brain syndrome. I recommend either kinetic arbitration or getting away from that kitchen ASAP. Tell your managers if you can.

At this point thats not even a Chef, wtf dude

Get that m’fer out the kitchen

As for cleaning the basket run it through the dish pit a few times and spray it in between

Switch baskets out,but if you have a designated person in the pit

You shouldnt fall behind and if you need it back, just tell ’em to 911 it

Otherwise Im assuming you couldnt swap the oil out immediately but hopefully by now its done

In this situation since the oil is already toss wouldn’t it be quickest to just melt the rest of it off the basket in that oil?

  8. Drop that picture to the health department. Doubt your customers like the extra carcinogens

  9. The chef should be the one cleaning the fryer and disposing of the oil.

If they refused to, I’d pull the drain handle and walk out, then call OSHA and the health department.

This shit is why scientists are finding micro/nanoplastics in fucking everything! They recently found them in chicken embryo hearts. Still in the shell!

Rubbing alcohol dissolves plastic. After using alcohol, put it through the dishwasher.

Best way would be to melt it or burn it off. And change that oil immediately.

Reading your comment. Tell the customers with fried food to stop eating, do something. This is active poisoning

Spray it off with the dish sprayer and scrub off the remaining with a sponge, then change the oil? Idk how you would do it without changing the oil

Blow torch or burn on gas stovetop AFTER running it through the dish machine.

Melting plastic in the oil is giving people cancer

    Was it plastic wrap?
    Was he high?
    I’d say bye

Just out of curiosity what restaurant was this? Are we allowed to name and shame? Or perhaps report? How much cancer you think they’ve already served to their customers?
