The lighting in the second picture looks weird but I was showing a couple pieces of the cake

I can’t really see the finished product. Can you do one with better lighting and no filter?

Looks much more like cake than I had thought it’d turn out, especially for a lava cake!

I just made a dessert with jello pudding right before I saw your post and when I saw it I was like darn! I should have made that!

Reminds me of my family’s favorite cake, mystery mocha cake. It forms mocha fudge in the bottom of the pan while cooking. The cake floats on top, but is super moist and mushy with a crunchy crust up top. It’s so rich that you have to eat it w/vanilla ice cream.

I’ve never seen a crock pot cake. That’s ingenious!

  5. This reminds me of the lava cake pudding stuff buffets would have in the dessert area. I wonder if it’s like that

Oh thanks for posting the final product! It looks so good and I’m looking forward to trying something similar soon!

It looks great! You’ve reminded me I need some chocolate 🤣

Can you remove the whole cake from the cooker? Will it hold its form, or does it need to keep in a bowel? I’d like to try this, but was hoping I could put it on display prior to eating.

Cake looks delicious in the pot. Chocolate pudding cake is one of my specialties, and I’d be very curious to try it myself to see how it translates in the slow cooker. But you can’t see what the finished, plated product looks like in the serving bowl because of the weird filter. And people are going to eviscerate you for the plastic.
