You guys were divided about my BBQ sauce pizza. Here is my fiancé’s. It has hotdogs and sausage on it. In addition to BQQ sauce.

Honestly bbq sauce with onions and those meats still sounds pretty solid to me. I would argue bbq sauce is not THAT far from traditional pizza sauce even.

For me, pizza crimes aren’t as much about the individual ingredients. There are obviously some ingredients that will always be pizza crimes, but for the most part, pizza crimes are about execution, and if the ingredients make sense together. This one is borderline, I’m not sure if the hotdogs jive with the other ingredients.

I could eat a slice of pizza with a BBQ sauce base.

But I couldn’t eat a whole pizza, it would be too sweet for me

Serious question: Does hot dog usually mean sausage & bun or just the sausage?
Because in Finnish hot dog always means sausage & bun, whereas just the sausage is *nakki* or *makkara.*
Calling the sausage a whole hot dog is like saying that patty is a hamburger or a handful of pineapple slices is a pizza.

I was with you until the hot dogs. There should never be hot dogs and pizza. Gross

I like the sound of the other one more, I’ll go to bat for her and say I’ve always wished sliced hot dogs were a pizza topping

For some reason, I feel like sliced andouille would be better on this than hot dogs. Were they Vienna Beef at least?
