Mario cake

Here is a Mario cake I made for my son's 2nd birthday. I really struggled with making this one. While it didn't take as long as the Sonic cake I made for my 4 year old, everything just seemed to go wrong and I had to rush with putting it together at the last minute so the decorations is quite a bit sloppier than I wanted. The bottom two layers of my bottom cake turned to mush with the strawberry filling I used. It went from a triple layer 6" high cake to a 3" high cake lol. I had put supports in it to hold up the top cake up but it still didn't help and the top cake had fallen off several times before fully decorating it. Luckily once the bottom cake settled into its final condensed form I put new supports in it and it was able hold the top cake no problems. The top cake was lemon with lemon filling and bottome was strawberry cake with strawberry filling. Everyone loved it and it mostly went. My son loved it. 😍
