I was slow cooking some pork ribs, and these bones fell off when I picked them up. What are the nodules, and do I need to be concerned?

…how about you and me just delete this post, toss whatever the fucks in the picture away and enjoy our weekend?

What lower jaw did you just decide to throw on the grill?

I honestly don’t know what I’m looking at, but could it be part of the spine?

If they fell off the ends of the ribs, probably cartilage.

    Bit of pancreas maybe?

You’d probably get some better insight from a butchery or even hunting subreddit. Looks like a glandular tissue to me, even if it’s a bit “toothy” seeming. If it’s a sweetbread organ, it’s perfectly safe to eat your recipe. Some people even really like them.

    “You can’t get a good look at a t-bone …”

    Do pigs get bone cancer?

Is it dangerous to eat from a cancerous animal?

From U/MartenGlo in r/butchery, it’s a growth plate. Nothing concerning
