Sorry did I say $700? I meant $100, that would be nuts

Looks beautiful the people that get to the platter late will be jealous of the ballsamic jizzle on the mozz balls the early birds get

  2. I was fully mad that you selling that for $700.

I also wanted to find out who you were selling it too so I could book some functions for them.

  3. Lemon_and_Rat

I like the balsamic drizzle on the mozz pearls, breaks up the monotony of the white.

  4. Easy_Combination_689

That’s easy a $1000 platter, what are your food costs?

  5. Bongus-Lordus

At this point I’m not sure if you guys are serious about the cost, and I’m to afraid to ask.

  6. You’re honestly looking at max. 20 euros of ingredients cost, coming from an Italian perspective.

  7. LocalCoffeeLlama

The veggie ramp incident happened like a week into me joining this sub. I genuinely hope it never dies.

Where are the raw, whole pearl radishes? The defrosted broccoli florets? The tinfoil cascade tower? The slightly under mixed Hidden Valley Ranch powder bowl?

I wouldn’t pay a dime over $675 for this unless you hooked me up with some Member’s Mark stuffed green olives out of a #10 can as a garnish.

  9. PickleWineBrine

My order clearly stated whole pepperoncinis only!

  10. CasualSuperlative

You seem to have forgotten the angrily quartered radishes and bowl of shredded carrots 🤔

  11. sinless33

Not a single drop of pasto in sight. Nice work, chef

Not messing with the $700 part.

It looks nice enough. Not impressed with the mozzarella (?) balls. I’d do something else. Leaving the stems on the grapes will make the whole platter looked picked over fast. Cut the pickles into smaller chunks. Good balance of colors.

I would have done a big tomato rose in the middle and three [meat roses](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YZA4AcwdBHo) around it in a triangle. Maybe some [olive bunnies](https://jp.foundation/video/olive-rabbits) – black bunnies on green olives and green bunnies on black olives. Upcharge for garnish.

It’s good work u/Big_Economy_6436 – comments meant to generate thought for the next one. Tastes vary and we always have to meet (meat?) a budget.

Damn clickbait won again. 100$ sounds so much better. What is the most expensive product here? Buy out?

  14. HappinessIsaColdPint

No meat roses. No veggie slide. 4/10 here chef.

  15. Heh idk why but I read that caption in Bourdain’s voice

  16. Skate_faced

What the fuck is this? The cheese…. it is not in it’s log and Lincoln form.

What does one build with this? I would pay no more than $96.69. Plus tip. But only because I have leprosy.

    Bon’ Swah!

  17. brandysnacker

Lmao i was literally thinking the most I would pay is $100 lol

  18. There is a disturbing lack of shredded carrot topped with single Olive

  19. FishHikeMountainBike

Rodney Dangerfield would make a bizarre yet appealing sandwich out of that.

  20. BallLikeRalphSamson

Presenting grapes stem side up is an interesting choice, looks good though

  21. themassiah

Are you part of the catering team at MSG? Because those prices line up.

  22. cereshalocapricorn

Where is the veggieramp? The bowl of shredded carrots with an olive on top? Answer me!!!!!!

  23. htpSelect309

Nah, needs a lone carrot stick on top in the middle to really sell that $700 price tag.

  24. I quit catering too soon, JFC – I used to do platters like that for maybe $100

  25. dildorthegreat87

It’s hilarious to me that the op of the carrot ramp “charcuterie” (really a crudite) will never live it down, and has become a meme on this sub.

Much like the guy who built his “dream house” with a dozen staircase cabinets that looked god awful. Immortalized.

  26. CancerousCyberman

I think you might have meant to include a few more zeros

Let me just run my fingers all over everything trying to get a slice of meat. Thanks.
