Mama Laspada from Laspada’s, V & S special from V & S Deli

I travel to the Delray area for work here and there and I only found these gems because of posts on this subreddit, so thank you!
Out of these two, I think Laspada’s takes the W.

    Why do I have to be the hater here? Those look like a good sandwiches from anywhere USA. SF didn’t even jazz it up with “Columbian yeye sauce”.

    And we have some similar but unrelated LaSpada’s locations up here that are also great, although I’ve tried the one down in Davie too. This is my review of the Orlando LaSpada’s, which also serves cheesesteaks and other hot sandwiches, unlike the South Florida locations:

    There is a new place that opened in the the Boca/Delray area called Beauregards, next time you’re in the area definitely check it out. Love V&S and Laspdadas but the Italian at Bearegards is the best I’ve had down here.

    I live in Fort Lauderdale. There was never a better sub shop that “Subs Subs Subs”. It was across the street from the Goodyear blimp house. My dad worked as a locomotive engineer for the railroad. When he worked the morning job, he’d stop the train in front of the shop, step out, walk across the street, put the owner’s American flags out for her. Then he’d get a sub. Once all done, climb back into the cab, and set back to the job.

    Completely unrelated to this post, just wanted to post this story because I was reminded. If there was a way to post a picture of her subs, I would. They were so big you pretty much had to unhinge your jaw. There was no possibility of eating one whole sub in one sitting. That other half was for the next day.
