Sharing this in response to someone else asking for photos. I have a BBQ300 that I picked off marketplace for free a year ago, the Free-B-Que! The hotrod recently stopped working, ordered one, and when swapping the old one out, the rusted set screw twisted off. Ordered a new SST firepotboff Amazon.
Change out was quite straight forward, I have done similar on my XL / BBQ150 previously. Remove power and disconnect the purple 🟣/white ⚪ connector, snip hotrod wires at the hotrod end, and pull through. Insert hotrod through the hole into the wind tunnel, and make the wire connection.
Insert hotrod into the firepot, tighten provided set screw, place firepot in place, and fasten with provided screws.

If this is a photo of one of your cooks, maybe share the recipe and techniques
used, as it’s almost guaranteed one of the first questions you will be asked!
*What seasoning did you use?
*How long did you cook it, and at what temperature?
*Did you use any special tricks or techniques?

Great pics! Do you have a link on Amazon for the firepot by chance??
