They’re barely deep enough for dwarf tomatoes like Tiny Tim. If you’re starting seedlings to transplant later, that’s fine, but if you’re growing regular size tomato plants, you’re going to need much larger containers.

none. those pots are wrong for growing tomatoes. they will become rootbound very fast and produce nothing. roots will get to hot. one per 5 gallon pot. to start.

Please use these for ginger or some type of herb.

  4. It is not suitable for growing tomatoes as it is not so deep.

You will want a 10 to 25 gallon container. I recommend a grow bag. You can grow in smaller, but you really need to keep up with watering and fertilizing.

What kinds of tomatoes are they? You can plant micro dwarf tomatoes in one lb pots. I usually plant Determinate or dwarf tomato varieties in 10lb pots, and indéterminâtes in 20-25 lb pots.

One full grown tomato plant can be done in a 5 gallon bucket.

I’ve put 10 plants in 2x 100 cm version and only got a hand full of tomatoes. I guess they’re not geraniums and need way more space.
