As someone who does not eat meat. And gets it swapped to tofu or a meat alternative in my meals. I just made a meal. Before it’s best before date of both the meal kit AND tofu. Tofu BB is November 26. And the tofu smelt off. But I thought that it’s just a different brand than I’m used to. So cooked it and kind of forgotten about it. But then I tried the meal and it was just off putting. Not sour just pungent smell and weird taste.
I found it VERY easy to report the error and get my $ back. But has anyone else had this issue?

According to the very first result on my Google search of “tofu smells”:
> Spoiled tofu tends to have a darker color of tan or even brown. Mold may form on the surface or you may see discoloration. Tofu that has gone bad also tends to be slimy and have a sour or rotten odor – fresh tofu has no odor. If you find any of these signs of spoilage, toss the tofu.
