Nice job chef on getting to your first month! The first few weeks are really tough unlike that tender looking steak.

    Rock on

  2. bigfoots_weiner

Congrats on being sober. I’ve been cleaning for 5 years and it’s hard but always gets easier.

Fuck yeah buddy! You got this shit. One day at a time. And remember there are going to be easy days and hard days ahead. Forever. Like forever ever.

Hell ya! Just better way to live. Dealing with work stuff became much easier for me as I’m learned to deal with stress, difficult people, work load ect. I also dropped like 30lbs.

Hell yeah dude, congrats on 30 days. Stay strong, and keep on course. It’s super normal to have a few hiccups when you’re early days- but you got this. Just don’t get down on yourself if you slip up.

Congrats on the new spot- you and your pup have a bright future together!

Congratulations. I hit 5 months last Friday.

You got this, and your future self will thank you.

I’m somewhere around 275 days, and I’m almost 2 weeks in to quitting cigarettes. We got this, chef 💪

Good stuff. I’m at 11 years. It’s worth it, and I can’t imagine getting to a 5AM prep hungover.

Yes chef! Keep going forward brother. Not in the kitchen anymore, but sober 14 months here.

Ugh I’m trying. Hit a wall a couple years ago and really toned the drinking down. I’ll stop for a month here, a few weeks there, but then I’ll have a few beers over a few days and get back to it. Like something is holding me back from just swearing off alcohol for good.

Your body, mind, and wallet will be thanking you. Your friends and family too, they’ll be thanking you also. You never wanna see someone you care about drinking themselves to death.

Might not feel like it yet, you’ll probably feel shitty for a while still. But keep going and eventually it’ll be the best decision you ever made.

One day at a time buddy. Proud of you.

  13. Wait a minute, those come in other color then black???

But for serious for having seen too many good one mess up their well…everything(and at 25 years on the line that’s way too many). Seeing this makes me a liar when I say: Old cook hands is like their hearts, their haven’t been any feelings left there for a long time.

32 days here, riding it out baby. In the last month, my partner and I broke up, lost my job, haven’t worked since last month. But we’re here and sober and starting a new job on Thursday
