Recipe is very simple: Add some olive oil and half a stick of butter to a dutch oven, then once it's hot you dump in your onions/alliums with thyme, rosemary, kosher salt, black pepper, gochugaru, bay leaf, and a spoonful of white miso for extra umami. I cooked it all down on low heat for about an hour while watching a Hallmark Christmas movie and stress cleaning.
