*Recipe* makes 3 strudels, total of 12 servings
*Ingredients*
– 2 cored, chopped red crisp apples
– 1 cup chopped walnuts
– 1 cup golden raisins
– 2 tbsp semolina flour (or fine plain breadcrumbs)
– 4 tbsp sugar (use 2 tbsp for the apple filling mix, reserve 2 tbsp to sprinkle the layers)
– Cinnamon to taste
-1 tbsp vanilla extract
– 2-3 tbsp cold salted butter (frozen best)
– Phyllo dough (room temperature)

*Instructions*
1. Mix apple filling ingredients except for phyllo and butter, and let sit for a few minutes to hours.
2. Layer phyllo dough (4 layers per strudel). Place on the counter 2 of the layers and n grate on top ¼-⅓ tbsp of butter, add 2 more layers of phyllo dough.
3. Fill and roll strudels by layering evenly ⅓ of apple mix. Roll the short side.
4. Glaze with apple juice.
5. Bake at 425°F (convection) for almost 15 minutes.
