Checked out the new A Tí in Echo Park, an upscale taqueria/bar in the old Bar Caló space from former Bestia chef de cuisine Andrew Ponce. Everything was delicious, especially the duck mole. They're doing a test run through October and then will consider going permanent if they do well. I highly recommend stopping by!

Is that an oyster float miche??
I had a very difficult time identifying what I was looking at until the duck leg. Tacos? Yes. But what’s in the tacos? 🤷♀️ I hope it was tasty, whatever it was!
List the tacos. What was the second to last?
The first drink looks like a vagina is floating on top. lol.
Pictured:
-Michelada with pickled mussel
-Tomato salad with whipped feta, scallop aguachile
-Crispy beef tacos with cheddar (looks sus but actually an extremely delicious riff on an American taco)
-Striped bass taco, al pastor
-Sweet potato taco
-Duck mole
How much was the bill?
Very interested, the loss of Broken Spanish left a hole that hasn’t quite been filled imo
it fulfills the east side thesis/antithesis by looking both very expensive and very cheap.
The day someone puts a mussel in my drink is the day I stop going to restaurants
I greatly appreciate your post ty.
