I’ve been coming up with different meals for so long that I realized I hadn’t made a simple sandwich in forever, and it was honestly better than most of the “creative” salads/toasts/etc I’ve been putting together, so I’m posting this in case anyone else needs a reminder that a simple sandwich can still be calorie friendly and is so delicious!
This has:
- European Bakery Ukranian rye bread
- Cabot cheddar
- Diestel fresh roasted turkey breast
- Tomato
- Lettuce
- EVOO
With a side of air fryer roasted red bell pepper.
The entire meal is 479 calories, and could easily be less without the olive oil (but it’s so worth it imo)

no i have a turkey sandwich every day for lunch, helps me stay consistant on my diet as it’s filling/ delicious but less than 300 cals. i use velveeta sharp cheddar slices, lower cal but so good!
I love sandos but I prefer the toast version. Aka toasties! This morning I fried an egg and some cherry tomatoes and put between wholegrain toast slices and hot sauce inside. I’m waiting for my avocado to ripen and add that next. I love it.
I eat subway. Love it and ive been losing weight consistently eating a 6 inch.
