White dust particles kind of pest in our kitchen. I don’t know what they are called. They are rapidly spreading and we’re unable to get rid of them.

Don’t be afraid to talk to your pest guy, they have a lot of knowledge and will know immediately how to deal with the situation.

I believe this to be the same Parmesan style cheese from Waiting…..

Probably flour mites. They like damp and infect things like grain, flour etc. As someone else said you need pest control and to deep clean your kitchen and resolve any damp issues. You will probably need to rethink whatever storage/pantry situation you have because something is damp and probably growing mould.

They’ll be more concentrated nearby whatever they’re eating. They can also cause allergic reactions so be careful and make sure you get on top of this situation.

I had something similar happen in my house. Left my windows open for weeks one year – and hasn’t dusted for some time. Small white dust mites came in through the windows, and then moved toward my electronics (tv, game console, speakers) that sit close to the window. They seemed drawn to the electronics for some reason. Did some research. Isopropyl alcohol killed them on contact. It took weeks of constant dusting and spraying these spaces with alcohol to kill them off.

This looks similar – but could be a different variety of mite. Not sure if your degreasers and sanitizing agents will kill them in the same way.

Am I being silly to think it might just be….white dust? Like dust left behind from white rags?

    This is cocaine going feral.

Someone must have spilled a bump in the bathroom.

Sensing freedom, the little cocaines started breeding.

Soon, they’ll start forming lines, as is their nature.

    Congratulations! You’re a mommy-daddy!
