You could dehydrate them or air fry them.

I used to put a little oil and salt on them and pop them in my dehydrator.

I just bake them in the oven. They get crisp and delicious.

  3. Crisping them up works okay. I typically just slice up an orange pepper as my fries substitute though.

I feel the biggest mistake people make with Keto is to look for substitutes. I see them spending so much time and money trying to recreate pizza and fries and all sorts of stuff but they just end up disappointed and disheartened. I’ve avoided that completely by actively seeking out replacements because there’s a whole world of food out there. Why limit yourself to chasing a dragon you’ll never catch?

Appreciate your post wasn’t completely serious but it’s something I talk to people about a lot so thought I’d mention it here too. I bet those beans taste great in butter or baked with some smoked finishing salt on top!

This sent me down a rabbit hole. Deep fried green beans and stir fried green beans are apparently a thing!

They do but there’s way too much liquid in there for them to crisp up. I cook them in a skillet with a tiny bit of peanut oil for a long time on low. Then add garlic salt at the end

My favorite sub for fries is the Heavenly Fan recipe from YouTube which is essentially just almond flour, water, and xanthan. I typically add rosemary because it triggers the potato signal in my mind.

They do not, but they are a worthy snack or side dish in and of themselves.
