  1. I went for my friend's birthday… it is overrated. I would rather go to Katsuya. Even my local sushi spots are better. Thanks for sharing how to do this at home. Cheers!

  2. I don't think I could make these as delicious as you did. you have so much culinary experience that you definitely made them perfectly! they look so good!
if you wanted to get the shape perfect, I'm pretty sure they use cannoli molds for theirs. but yours are better because they are super duper tiny at the restaurant, I can fit the whole thing in my tiny mouth (my dentist has always told me that my mouth is small)

  3. Huh! I've always heard restaurants triple the food cost to cover labor and rent. Did you use wagyu? If so, great price! If not, a three dollar premium per taxi for wagyu at Nobu seems like a steel.

  4. Hi Chef Kim. Why do you marinate meat in oil, are you sure it works? Isn't the theory that Oil prevents other agents from "marinating" by acting as a protective layer. Why don't you just add oil later?

  5. How are you washing the lime (I think) in the beginning? Is that to remove wax?

I know it isn't this (delicious looking) dish's vibe, but I am no longer capable of having a taco without putting kimchi on it. Been hooked on it for years.

  6. Thank you Chef Kim!!! So much for telling the price, as much as I follow many other chefs they don’t tell me how much I’ll actually be paying(which is not bad sorry if it sounded that way). I just like to be very informed since I enjoy cooking and would love to make these meals not only for myself but some family and friends as well 😊

  7. If you have never been to NOBU and tried the wagyu tacos, then how can this be a “copycat version” if you’ve never tried them before? Regardless, these look fantastic and delicious!! 🤤
