The sauce is pretty legit, obviously the noodles aren’t the same as authentic ones but for instant ramyeon I’d say this one is pretty close! I’m Korean but moved out to a town with next to no Asian cuisine for uni and this is what I go for when I get the jajangmyeon craving

I recommend adding more onion and meat for real jjajang meon and for the health.

I wouldn’t go as far as to say it’s super authentic, but I can personally assure you that it’s REALLY good, lol.
I spent years trying every instant jjajangmyeon I could find, and this one has always been my favorite.
Edit: it is literally 4am and I am going to have to make some of this now 😩

My favorite by far of the instant jjajjangs.

These are super rare to find where I live and I now have a little underground jajangmyeon network with someone in the Asian market closest to me. That’s how good these are.

I think the sauce is but it still tastes like instant ramen lol

These are ok. I might be in the minority when I say I like the nongshim better. This one seems a little sweet to me.

It’s similar to a very poor version of jajangmyun. Imo, most restaurant jajangmyun is somewhere between terrible and mediocre, and this product is several notches below that.

It is SO SWEET. I’ve never eaten homemade or even restaurant jjajamgmyun that was sweet at all. I wouldn’t say it was necessarily bad, but the sweetness was jarring.

I prefer the Pulmone Jjajang. It seems closer to restaurant style and it comes with a little scallion oil packet that makes it extra tasty.

Honestly my go-to instant jjajangmyeon. It actually has a wet sauce packet instead of a seasoning packet. Not better than the real thing obviously but will do the trick when you have jjajang cravings. Compared to the other comments, I actually think it leans towards the saltier side than sweet.

Imo this is the best instant black bean noodle on the market. I like to add frozen meatballs into the boiling noodle water for some extra protein/a heartier meal.
That said, it is certainly not authentic and a mediocre substitute for proper jjajangmyun. 🥲
