    After leaving the restaurant industry for warehousing, I now believe this is an industry wise conspiracy in the plastic wrap industry. We have 5 foot tall bins just for junk rolls of wrap.

    Never once cut myself as a Baker using a mandolin, this pos drew blood my first day as a server.

    On my way out of one particularly shity kitchen (people included) I whacked the end of 3 rolls of wrap with a knife. I’m not exactly proud of it but no regerts. Feel free to skewer me if you like.

    I just switched away from this shit after *years* of fighting with it.

    If you guys have Chef’s Warehouse accounts, their film wrap is amazing. Its a little thicker, not as sticky, and it never does that bullshit. You’ll pay about $10 more per roll, but it pays for its self in time saved.

    Call me superstitious, but when I see this cream-yellowish tint on plastic wrap, I know it’s gonna be bad. If I see a greenish tint, it’s going to give me trouble, but 10x less of it
