After living abroad for a while I went back to my home country and had lots of sushi and realized how sushi is insanely expensive in the EU or USA.

I thought the sushi was crazy different in Brazil! There was so much cream cheese in every roll it was hard to avoid but still really good!

Somebody hasn’t watched monsters inside me . If it’s 10$ for sushi it’s because you pay in other ways

The sushi restaurants I’ve been to in Brazil all had prices comparable to the US. They were delicious though!

Part of the reason you see so many sushi restaurants in the west is that they can be very profitable since your cost of goods is typically quite low (cheap albacore tuna and farmed atlantic salmon on rice).

    To do list:
    1. Go to Brazil
    2. Eat sushi for $10
    3. Goto 2

Pre-Covid there was an all you can eat sushi place near my home in NJ that was all you can eat for $15 (lunch)/ $25 dinner. They didn’t survive Covid.
